Export Catalog

From CeltxWiki

The Master Catalog data, i.e. Actors, Characters, Scene details, Crew and the categories, can be exported to a comma separated value-file (Master Catalog.csv) or plain text file (Master Catalog.txt).

This is useful for planning, budgeting and scheduling, where office applications* can offer a richer and more powerful tools and options. http://www.registry-repair-tools.net/

(* Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, LibreOffice, GoogleDocs etc.)

To export the Master Catalog, open it's tab and press the "Export Catalog..."-button.

This will open a Save-dialog where you can choose to save as .csv or .txt file.

The csv file is optimal for importing into other office applications. If you just open the file (typically "Menu -> File -> Open..."), all data are dumped in the first row only. Instead, use an Import data function, which will put data into separate columns, for instance:

Name Category Description Tags Media
