Free Basic Celtx Account
Having a free basic Celtx account allows you to:
- Participate on Project Central by creating your own profile.
- Upload your projects to Project Central for public viewing, peer reviews and feedback.
- View Studio project previews (by invite only).

A state of the art, Semantic web compliant, open source, open standards, hybrid Rich Internet software application, available in 28 languages, that provides a feature rich tool set for making a wide variety of media, including five different script editors, while simultaneously enabling new approaches to pre-production.
A community focused site for unlimited public posting of Celtx Projects that supports mobile interfaces, Profiles, downloading of ancillary media, and email alert integrated threaded discussions.
3. Typeset
An innovative formatting service that enables the generation of format perfected screenplays, audio plays, stageplays, two column AV scripts, and comic books.
4. Support
Multiple entry point support including direct email and Forum support for all of the Celtx system, including the use of Project Central and the current and all past versions of the Celtx software.

Free application add-ons, including cvs Catalog export and foreign language dictionaries.
Celtx Studio Pay Accounts
The Celtx Studios provide access to a top tier, fully supported, multiple backed up server environment (EC2) whose core feature set, which can be enhanced without requiring a new release of the client, includes:

- ii. Direct Project launches from the Studio
- iii. Sharing for Collaboration
- c. Archives of all past versions of every Project that can be opened in the Celtx software for retrieval.

Personal Accounts
- Personal - 5 seats - $5./month or $50/year
Work on your own or have the option of collaborating with up to four other people. Note that this change is retroactive, so any Studio you acquire before the change (April 20/09) will get the same updated extra seats.
School & Group Accounts
- Small Group - 15 seats - $15./month or $150./year
- Large Group - 25 seats - $25./month or $250./year
- Large Group - 35 seats - $35./month or $350./year
- Large Group - 45 seats - $45./month or $450./year
Studio Sub-Seats - Administrator Account
Every Celtx Studio now includes an Administrator feature enabling the Studio owner to create and assign sub-seats to project collaborators and Preview viewers. The idea is to make it easier for small teams to work together without requiring casual collaborators to obtain a paid account.
The entry level Personal Studio now includes 5 seats - 1 Administrator account plus 4 sub-seats. This change is retroactive, so any Studio you acquire before the change will get the same updated extra seats.
After creating the Studio, the Admin account holder will be able to assign usernames and passwords for each of the 4 sub-seats. Passwords can be changed by the Administrator, so the seats can be re-cycled.
Each sub-seat holder has access to a full featured Studio (less the Admin privileges) to enable sharing, storing etc. of celtx Projects. However, the Administrator has continued access to the account details of each sub-seat.

Registration
Registration for both free client and online commercial Studio accounts can be accessed from:
- Celtx Studio homepage
- Inside the celtx software under the 'Help menu -> Create an Account', or from the Login dialog located in the bottom RH corner of the application
- Project Central homepage -> Registration
Once you create an account, the same username and password will give you access to the Celtx desktop features, Project Central and your Celtx Studio.
Re-Setting or Changing your Password
You can reset the password for your Celtx Account via the Password Reset form at Celtx Studios.
To change your Account password, login with your current password and go here.
Note: If you are experiencing trouble logging in with your username and password, ensure you have cookies enabled in your browser, then try logging in again. Cookies are required for the authentication process.

Please note the registration process for Celtx (Server) Accounts is different from that of the Celtx Forums. Forum accounts can be created here.
