Category

A Category is a group of items. Each item within a category can have detailed information recorded against it. Items are created within a category by either tagging the text using the Production Items Sidebar, or by using the Add Item command. Categories get various colours.

The categories Celtx provides are:

Hair Lights Livestock Location Makeup Mechanical FX Miscellaneous Music Optical FX Painting Production Notes Props

Scene Details Security Set Set Dressing Sound Sound FX Special Equipment Special FX Stunts Vehicles Wardrobe Weapons

Celtx allows you to ignore categories, by removing them for your project using the Options dialog. Sections of each category can be collapsed down (or hidden) using the -/+ buttons next to each section.
